This is a Sakai Takayuki new model, "CORELESS DAMASCUS" Kengata Yanagiba 260 mm, made of multi-layers of VG-10 & VG-2 Stain Resistant Steel alternately (No Core Material) with Black My Carta Handle.
Kengata (Sword shape) means the blade tip is extremely sharp and slanted like Japanese Sword or Kiritsuke Style blade, suitable for delicate work. Excellent in appearance, too.
